If any of your test results come back as out of range (either too high or too low), they are considered abnormal. If the results are significantly out of range, they are considered critical. We suggest you follow up with a health care provider if any of your test results are abnormal. We suggest you seek medical attention right away if any of your results are critical.

The results of some tests could indicate a serious health issue. If your results are critical for any of these tests, we will contact you on the phone number you provide as soon as we have your results no matter what time of day or night it is. We will also notify you via email that you have results which warrant urgent attention. If any of your results are abnormal (outside of the range considered normal), we will alert you via email that you have results which warrant extra attention.

Most test results are available within 24-48 hours. A few tests may take longer to perform. We will alert you via email as soon as your results are ready.

Most tests do not require any preparation. You simply go to the testing center of your choice and have your sample drawn at a time that is convenient for you. If your test requires you to fast (not eat or drink anything besides water for at least 8 hours before the test), it will be listed in the test description.

Sometimes two unique tests or panels may have an overlapping component, such as a glucose contained within two larger panels. If this happens, our lab will measure that specific component once, and return only one result. This prevents the confusion of seeing two separate results that may be slightly different.
