Follicle Stimulating Hormone Test (MHD1405)
The follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) test measures the level of FSH in blood and is used to evaluate infertility and pituitary and gonadal disorders. FSH is a hormone released by the pituitary gland, located on the underside of the brain.
Men and women who are concerned about:
- Women: menstrual cycle changes, infertility, menopause, ovary function, early or delayed puberty and pituitary gland disorders.
- Men: infertility; function of testes, early or delayed puberty and pituitary gland disorders.
