Asthma Profile (MHD101)
This profile checks for 14 of the most common allergens that lead to asthma attacks. If you have asthma, the inside walls of your airways become swollen and inflamed when you come in contact with an allergen or irritant, making it hard for you to breathe. Several allergens can trigger an asthma attack.
Anyone who is trying to determine what their triggers are for an asthma attack. Symptoms of asthma can include:
- Coughing, especially early in the morning or at night
- Chest tightness
- Shortness of breath
- Alternaria alternata
- Aspergillus fumigatus
- Candida albicans
- Cladosporium herbarium
- Mucor racemosus
- Cat dander
- Dog dander
- Common ragweed
- Timothy grass
- House dust mites: D. farinae and D. pteronyssius
- Mouse urine
