Cashew Allergy Test (MHD1413)
This test is for cashew allergens. This test will determine if you are allergic to the cashew nut.
Anyone who thinks they may be allergic to the cashew nut. Although nut allergies frequently develop in childhood, they can develop at any age. For many people, allergic reactions to nuts are very serious. Symptoms of a cashew nut allergy can include:
- Abdominal pain, cramps, nausea and vomiting
- Difficulty swallowing
- Itching of the mouth, throat, eyes, skin or any other area
- Nasal congestion or a runny nose
- Shortness of breath
- Anaphylaxis, a potentially life-threatening reaction that impairs breathing and can send the body into shock
If this test confirms you are allergic to cashews, you may want to follow up with your primary care provider or an allergy specialist.
