Female Fertility Profile (MHD1803)
This profile is used to evaluate menstrual irregularities, reproductive organ function and overall fertility. These factors can influence a woman's ability to become pregnant.
Any woman who has been trying to get pregnant for one year without success (six months if age 35 or over). About a third of the time, infertility is related to the woman. One third of the time, it is related to the man. Sometime a cause cannot be found. When the cause can be found, there are multiple treatment options available to help couples become pregnant.
- Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH)
- Luteinizing hormone (LH)
- Folic acid
- Vitamin B12
- Vitamin D
There is no preparation for this test.
